Artist's Comments

Which way do you intend to go?

In life, there are so many times we have to stand in the middle of crossroads, and pick a path to tread. We wish the choices we make are for the best, but who knows? The path ahead is fogged with what-ifs and what's-next. And most of the times, these small choices, pretty much changes the way our life would become in the future.

We'll try all means to stall for time.

Before the inevitable choice has to be made

i like this one...i wonder are you the photographer and the model as well?
if you ask me i'd go to the left, the road doesn't look so easy as in the right that seems to be a straight road to the light.....why choose the easy way in life?(or i got the message of this photo all wrong ?)

nah, i love your interpretation!

I like it when someone else looks it in their own perspective. Cool cool.. It just makes what I'm doing more interesting... I agree with you, at first I wanted to manipulate it in such a way that the lwer road is wayyyy creepy and dark. But well, I'm not that skilled when I did it. heh.

I got my friend to take me with this one. haha. Cause he wouldn't wanna dirty his clothes by lying on the floor. And thus I had to do it. :]

the true artist sacrifaces himself for the sake of his art :)
I'm not a big fan of photo manipulation even though it might make it look better

I find this interestingly chaotic. The fact that everything is not perfectly vertical or horizontal. It's weird and very disorienting.

We all make choices based on our current cirumstances. Some look further, others fail to, some regret their choices, some never regret anything they do. The seemingly small things at the moment may have a large impact further down the road, while the things that seem big and important are actually trivial in the long run.

yea. im not too. especially those that come out fake. So as of my manip works.. lol

anyway thanks for coming!

Hmmm on the technical sides of things, I agree with you it looks distorted.

And I dig your little life-phrase over there ;D

Thanks,

haha, thanks! That's very kind of you, but I'm seriously not that professional. And yes, I know you :]

Well, that day I went photo-hunting with Hanif. So we went to fort canning park. Then we came upon this fork in the pathroad. And I just decided to do this. The inspiration just came at that point of time, so I didn't much plan la. It's like a see-it-do-it kind of thing. Cause it's pressurising to make the perfect condition for a perfect photo you have in your mind. Just take a photo when you think you're coming across the conditions of a potentially good photo. You know?

i know all about fake photos...i just can't stand people that manipulate photos and then say that is the way they took it and get a lot of credit for being such "a good photographer"
